Another Ottawa resident arrested in Osage County on drug charges. Just after 4:00 yesterday afternoon, an Osage County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a car stop at 6th and Maple in Quenemo for a traffic violation. During the stop, the driver gave a false name. The driver was identified and was suspected of having and Osage County Warrant. He was also found to be in possession of suspected narcotics.
The suspect, 31 year old Asa Michaelsen of Ottawa, was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on suspicion of Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Interference With Law Enforcement and an Osage County Warrant.
On Wednesday, two Ottawa women were arrested in separate incidents on similar charges.
