A traffic accident on John Brown Road near Osawatomie led to a charge of Battery on one of those involved. About 2:15 Wednesday afternoon, a vehicle driven by 60 year old Brad Gilchrist of Osawatomie, was traveling eastbound in the 4800 block of John Brown Road, when he was rear ended by a vehicle driven by 63 year old Daniel Hill, of Osawatomie.
After the incident, Hill reported to Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies that Gilchrist battered him. Authorities have forwarded a report of Battery to the County Attorney’s Office for further investigation.
