Remember the Garnett “Give Back” program initiated during the peak of the pandemic last year? It was designed to help retail, non-essential businesses and restaurants, who had to cut back or close their doors during the Stay At Home Order. It gave back Chamber Bucks to those making purchases at local businesses. As the pandemic lightens up dramatically and the State has fully reopened, that program has now ended. The Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce says over $30,000 was spent with local businesses last year. They want to thank all those who participated and they say they are considering bringing the program back at a later date.
