The Annual Fly Kansas Air Tour is back! Pilots will take to the skies and see the State, from Thursday, September 23rd to Saturday, September 25th and, it includes a stop at the Ottawa Municipal Airport! The fly-in will feature dozens of pilots visiting airports across the State.
The Fly Kansas Air Tour showcases what makes Kansas the Air Capitol of the World, by giving pilots the opportunity to visit unique airports, support aerospace education by meeting with students and community members, have a firsthand look and industrial development and network with other aviators.
The original Air Tour was in 1928 and revived in 2008. You can expect to hear more about the event in Ottawa as time draws near, with many events planned to showcase the community during the stop
