Building a new taxiway at the Ottawa Municipal Airport is coming closer to reality. With the City Commission giving the final go ahead for contracts on construction. Ottawa Public Works Director, Michael Haeffele and Airport Consultant Brad Waller, explained the project to commissioners:
The project will involve moving the connecting taxiway from just north of the main hangar to the south inline with the north side of the new T-hangers. Improving the safety of the installation. The Federal Government is paying for almost all the cost. The project is expected to begin in Spring of 2022
