Pallets of face shields and other personal protective equipment are still available, as Miami County Emergency Management looks to distribute its supplies as soon as possible.
Emergency Management Coordinator Mark Whalen, with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office says it’s available at no cost for any business, church, daycare, non-profit or similar type entity, based in Miami County. All kinds of different masks, gowns, wipes and different disinfectants. Along with paper towels and toilet paper are available. The County has been distributing it since getting a big shipment from the State in March of 2020. If you would like to get some of it, contact the Miami County Sheriff’s Department.
