Various City Departments are beginning to present their proposed budgets for the new fiscal year to the Ottawa City Commission. Utilities Director, Dennis Tharp, was one manager making a presentation. He says when it comes to the Water Treatment Department, some things once new are now old:
Tharp says one long standing item on the wish list,, a second clear well, may not be necessary if other new facilities are built. Tharp emphasizes that the budget only contains what can be afforded with the revenues received from water customers.
