Starting Monday, the Ottawa City Commission will open their meetings to the general public. The meetings have been closed the last 14 months, due to the COVID Pandemic. However, with the vaccinations weakening the virus’s grip on the area, the City Commission feels it’s time to open back up. City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, does ask one thing:

The first open session for the public will be at Monday’s Study Session. It’s scheduled for 4:00 in the afternoon at the Commission Chambers at City Hall. The meeting will still be live streamed on the City of Ottawa’s Facebook Page.
