The use of vaping products and electronic cigarettes among young people is growing at an alarming rate, particularly at the middle school level. Up until now there hasn’t been a solution to the problem; however, USD Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs says he hopes the Ottawa schools can be part of a new pilot program that will help:
He adds that they expect to hear back from the program organizers very soon and would like to get the program initiated at the middle school level as quickly as possible.
