The need for blood in the United States is staggering. The COVID Pandemic really set back blood banks on the supply they have on hand, to provide life saving blood to those in need. Randee Krumweide, Executive Director of the American Red Cross in the Greater Kansas City Area:
You have an opportunity to donate blood today. The Community Blood Center is holding a Blood Drive from noon to 6:00 at the ORC. Appointments are preferred, but walk ins will be taken.
