A local agency that supports the need of many people in Ottawa and the surrounding area is looking for some help. The East Central Area Agency on Aging is in charge of the Meals On Wheels Program. Jodi Smith, who is in charge of that program, says the need for volunteers is great:
She adds that they serve over 150 meals a day in the Franklin County area at six different sites, Ottawa, Lane, Pomona, Richmond, Williamsburg and Wellsville.
