The storms that blew through the Garnett area Friday evening, left the entire city without power, with trees and tree limbs down all over the area. Ottawa utility crews were quick to respond to a call for help from the City of Garnett. Ottawa City Manager Richard Neinstedt:
Clean up continues today as people try to clear trees and other debris from their yards and the streets. Winds estimated at 90 miles per hour pounded the area Friday night.
