This year’s Miami County Relay for Life, will be a little bit different than in the past. This year’s event will be in a drive-through format called “Highway To Hope” Luminary bags will be available for $5.00 and they will line the drive-through path at the Paola Middle School parking lot. The event is scheduled to take place from 10:00 to noon, Saturday morning. Luminaries honor every life touched by cancer. You can dedicate them to a loved one lost, someone currently battling, or anyone who’s overcome it. Luminaries can be purchased by making a donation online and picking up the bags at any local pharmacy, including Rockers, Auten Auburn and the Spring Hill Price Chopper. Bags can be decorated and returned to the pharmacy where they will be picked up by a committee person.
