Big changes coming in the administration of Anderson County Hospital. The Saint Luke’s Health System has announced that Anderson County Hospital Administrator, Rich McKain will be moving to a post overseeing Saint Luke’s Radiology and Outpatient Imaging Services. the Administrator job will be replaced by a joint manager who will administrate both the Anderson County Facility and the Iola Hospital, which recently came under Saint Luke’s Authority. Allen County Regional Hospital’s Elmore Patterson, who took the Administrator post there in April 2020, will take over at Anderson County in the transition. St. Luke’s CEO, Steve Scheiber, says the strategic decision to manage both facilities under single leadership, offered multiple benefits to patients, providers and employees of both facilities. the change will take place on August first.
