The Franklin County Historical Society is on the slow track when it comes to moving its archives from the run down Crestview Building to the Visitors Center. During a Board of Trustees Meeting, Historical Society Executive Director, Diana Staresinic-Dean told the Trustees about a recent meeting with the County Commission:
Despite the opposition, the Trustees appear committed to the relocation. They appear to have accepted that the move will likely not take place until sometime in 2022.
