Liberty Fest in Garnett is back… bigger and better than ever. It all starts with a parade forming at Lake Garnett Park and heading to the Downtown Square. At the football field, there will be all kinds of games and activities, along with vendor booths, all sponsored by “Growing Garnett Heart & Soul”.
In the evening, the fun moves to North Lake Park. Starting at 5:00 the gates open with free bomb pops and sunglasses handed out by Hope Anthem Church and great music provided by Everett Cox. Food trucks and vendors will be on site to help you feed your hungry family. At 7:00 munch down at a free All American Watermelon Feed. At 8:00 the Garnett Community Band will play a Patriotic Concert, and… at dusk… the Community Fireworks Display, rumored to be larger than ever and one of the best fireworks shows in the State of Kansas! It’s going to be an incredible day at Lake Garnett. Bring your lawn chairs and come on out to the return of Liberty Fest, tomorrow at Lake Garnett.
