The Kansas Insurance Department, under the leadership of Insurance Commissioner, Vicki Schmidt, announced Digital Fingerprinting Services are now available at Pearson Vue Testing Center in Overland Park, Topeka and Wichita, for insurance agent applicants.
Schmidt says when COVID hit, the Kansas Insurance Department was the first in the Nation to have Producer Licensing Exam Facilities reopened, Kansans back to work and, one of the first states to implement online testing for applicants. She says Digital Fingerprinting adds an additional level of convenience for applicants and helps the department further streamline the licensing process.
Before digital fingerprinting was available, potential agents had to schedule a separate time at local law enforcement agency to have their fingerprints taken. To learn more about Producer Licensing in Kansas, visit “insurance.kansas.gov”.
