A new housing development at 1742 South Elm in Ottawa, went through a lot of scrutiny from both the Planning Board Commissioners and neighbors surrounding the proposal. KOFO’s Jeff Brewer, tells us what was asked of the developer and how he responded:
Killough says the houses will be built in phases, probably five or six per year. He says concerns that it will be a low income housing project are far fetched, as each unit will rent from $900 to $1,000 per month.
