The Ottawa City commission has approved a $10,000 loan to Johnson Lawn Car. The loan comes from money donated by an American Eagle affiliated organization, designed to help businesses hit hard by the COVID 19 pandemic. City Attorney Blaine Finch addressed a couple of concerns Commissioners had voiced earlier about the business using the money as designed:
The Commission approved the loan at their Study Session, instead of waiting for a Regular Meeting, so the business can get the money sooner.
