With the election one week away, many county clerks are predicting a big turn out at the polls, but more and more people are voting early and early voting is open and available until Monday at 4:30. This year Franklin County voters will get to experience the new voting machines the county purchased this year. They are touch screen and County Clerk Janet Paddock wants people to know they will still get a paper ballot to put in the box:
There will be early voting hours on Saturday from 9:00 in the morning until noon. The election is Tuesday and the polls will be open from 7:00 in the morning to 7:00 that evening.
