Kansas Attorney General, Derek Schmidt, has joined 17 other State Attorney Generals in calling for President Biden to back down from his order for FBI Agents to monitor school board meetings because parents are speaking out against items like Critical Race Theory. Biden went as far as calling the parents “Domestic Terrorists”. Schmidt says, as a Country, we need to celebrate their participation in our system of self-government, not silence them by threatening them with the FBI investigating their activities.

Earlier this month, the Department of Justice issued a warning of a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation and threats of violence against school administrators and board members, but provided no convincing evidence of such threats. The Attorney General’s letter reiterates the primary role that parents have in directing the education of their children and asks Biden to “immediately withdraw the memorandum, to immediately cease any further actions designed to intimidate parents from expressing their opinions on the education of their children and demand that you respect their first amendment rights to freedom of speech and to raise their children”.
