This morning the Ottawa Main Street Association will sponsor the Downtown Spook Parade from 10:00 until noon. Walk the streets of Boo-tiful Downtown Ottawa and collect some yummy treats and maybe some tricks from the businesses. Then head on over to Neosho County Community College from noon until 2:00 for more trunk-or-treating. Tomorrow night, roll on down to Forest Park for a drive-through trick-or -treat event sponsored by the Eagles Club. The entire park will be one big drive-through Halloween Scare Fest. It runs from 6:00 to 8:30 tomorrow night. Over 60 local businesses will be involved.
Tomorrow, go to “Trick-or-Treat With a Truck” in the Walmart parking lot. There will be lots of big rigs on hand to look t and plenty of goodies to go around for everyone. Also, there will be at least one truck that kids can crawl up in and pretend to drive and honk the horn. Grace community Fellowship will hold a Fall Festival Trunk-or0Treat from 3:00 to 5:00 Sunday afternoon at 5th and Poplar. There will be treats, food, fun and fellowship. Finally, the Crosspoint Community Church is offering “Light the Night”, a walk-through trunk-or-treat at 621 North Poplar. It’s family friendly and has been designated as a “fear free zone”.
