The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to expand K-68 Highway to four lanes in part of Miami County. The Miami County K-68 Expansion spans 6.68 miles of K-68 from US-169 to Spring Valley Road, that’s just west of Us-69 at Louisburg. It is one of the seven announced Eisenhower Legacy Transportation Program Modernization and Expansion Projects in the Development Pipeline for KDOT in Southeast Kansas. Recently KDOT had a Public Meeting in which they explained the project and answered questions about it.
