Voters in Rantoul will have an opportunity to choose their City government today. Five Council positions are open with six people running. The candidates are: Pat Hutchinson, Juanita Simms, Susan Stottlemire, Gracie Castleberry, Jay Davis and Michelle Dennison. Rantoul is voting for Mayor today. Two people are running for that position: Michael Sleister and Lora McDowell.
Another race that will be opposed today include the Wellsville City Council. Three positions open with five candidates. They are: Nichole Pruitt, Scott Hutchinson, Charles Rutledge, Greg Perry and Dustin Gardner.
In Williamsburg, three council positions open with four candidates. The include Leon Wildemann, Thomas Taylor, Dealy Sims and Jon Horne
