USD 365 voters will be deciding on three School Board Members in todays election. In Position 5, Incumbent Sonya Martin faces off with Challenger Mark Powels. In Position 4, Incumbent Michael Richards takes on Challenger Kevin Calley. Incumbent Gina Witherspoon is running unopposed for her position.
At a recent Candidate Forum, where none of the Incumbents were present, Powels and Calley heavily criticized decision making that has gone on in the School District during the pandemic, specifically the Mask Mandate Policy that the District adopted.
