The City of Ottawa is considering partnering with a private company that specializes in tracking potential properties that may violate city codes. Community Development Director, Wyndee Lee, says the company, called Prochamp, does charge for their services, but they leave it to the City Commission to set the fees:
Lee says Prochamp has many more tools to track potential code violators than the city could ever use and it might help the city keep up to date on taking care of properties with problems.
