Results for several area races in yesterday’s election will come down to counting write in votes. One of those is the race for Mayor in Princeton. No candidates were on the Official Ballot for Mayor in Princeton and only two were listed for City Council Members, with five avilable spots.
The write-in votes won’t be counted until at the County Canvass, where the Clerks Office will make the results of all races in the County Official. So, if you’re waiting to know who the Mayor of Princeton will be, you’re going to have to wait until Monday. The same thing applies to the Mayor and three Council Members in Lane and the Mayor position in Pomona and Richmond.
