The 2021 Election was a chance for the Franklin County Clerk’s Office to test out new voting equipment and it passed with flying colors. County Clerk Janet Paddock says voters seemed glad to see the new equipment:
Paddock says voter turnout was around 12%, much lower than she expected with the Ottawa City Commission and USD 290 School board having so many candidates.
