On Thursday at12:01 in the afternoon, an Osage County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on I-35. The vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit proceeded from Milepost 162 all the way to milepost 198, where a tire deflation device was used to stop the vehicle. Narcotics were subsequently located and the vehicle was listed as stolen.
The driver, Jesus Alejos-Reyna, 21 of Kansas City, was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail on suspicion of Possession of Stolen Property, Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute and Felony Flee or Attempt to Elude Law Enforcement.
