Plan now to attend a workshop that will get you involved in the community in a new way. The Garnett Community Heart and Soul, Phase 2 Workshop and Dinner will be held on Saturday. Community Heart and Soul is a resident driven process that engages the entire population of a town in identifying what they love most about the community, what future they want for it and how to achieve it. Instead of bringing residents to the table, Community Heart and Soul brings the table to residents at community events, neighborhood parties, schools, businesses and virtual gatherings. It’s based on a four-step process. Imagine— where ideas are formed; Connect—where information is gathered from residents; Plan—where action plans are created; and Act—where the statements are officially adopted by the town and City Councils and used to guide future policies and decisions.
