A Special Session of the Kansas Legislature will begin Monday morning at 10:00 in Topeka. All Republican Legislators, in both the House and the Senate, signed a Petition forcing the Governor to call the Special Session to deal with Policies coming from President Biden’s COVID Vaccine Mandates. Speaker Protem of the Kansas House, Blaine Finch, explains the Mandates:
Two pieces of Legislation will be introduced. One Bill would make it clear that a person who loses their job because they refuse to comply with the Biden Administration’s Unconstitutional Mandates, may receive Unemployment. The other Bill would strengthen the language in Kansas Law regarding religious and medical exemptions so these exemptions would be granted to Kansans who seek them. Finch will be our guest on this week’s Community Perspective. Tune in Sunday morning as he talks more about the Special Session and the upcoming Regular Session in January.
