Ottawa’s good fortune on sales tax revenue continued last month. The local economy is apparently booming, judging by the latest sales tax numbers. Ottawa City Commissioner, Eric Crowley, was especially interested:
The City sales tax for October was a little over $305,000, the largest amount so far this year. Sales Tax Revenues have been at their highest levels during the pandemic and have stayed high as restrictions have eased. The Commission is asking that everyone continue to buy local.
