Three years ago, Goat Mild Soap store owners had a vision of a Community coming together to give thanks at Thanksgiving and, the Community agreed. Tomorrow, the Third Annual Community Thanksgiving Meal will be served. All the food and labor donated by local individuals, organizations and businesses. Riggins says it’s more than just a meal:
Thanks to an $875.00 cash donation from Farm Bureau and a donation of all the turkeys from American Eagle, as well as donations of many other items from other sponsors, the meal is taken care of. They will be serving starting at 11:00 tomorrow morning until 1:00 that afternoon at the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium. The meal is open to anyone and everyone. So head on down to the OMA and grab a free Thanksgiving meal, courtesy of, well… the Community.
