There’s nothing better than a deep fried turkey. The meat is so tender and juicy; but, those turkey fryers can be a little dangerous if not used correctly. Did you know that Thanksgiving is the peak day for home cooking fires in the United States? The Ottawa Fire Department urges everyone to never leave cooking food unattended — which is the most common cause of kitchen fires. Chief Tim Mathias says that deep fried turkey sounds great, but be prepared:
