The State of Kansas is trying to give Ottawa and Franklin County a boost in marketing Proximity Park. Franklin County Development Council Executive Director, Paul Bean, says the state has recruiters actively contacting companies on behalf of clients:
Bean has previously said that cities and counties need to be more actively recruiting companies to come to the area, not just waiting for inquiries to come in.
