Many towns around the area save their Christmas tree lighting for a weekend, but not Wellsville. You have the opportunity to see the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting in Wellsville tonight. The Annual Lighting and Downtown Shopping Extravaganza will be held this evening at 5:45. Officials encourage everyone to be there early.
After the Lighting Ceremony, Wellsville businesses are asking you to stick around and continue down Main Street for an evening of family friendly activities and shopping. Many downtown businesses will have activities for the kids and special sales going on in their shops. There will be free toothbrushes, coloring contests, pictures with the Grinch, a place to write and mail your letters to Santa, and much more.
