In his monthly Mid America Business Conditions Index, Creighton University Economist Ernie Goss, says he anticipates employment levels will not be back to pre-pandemic levels until mid 2022:
Goss says the overall index dropped to a healthy 60.2, which is still above Growth Neutral. Goss says the economy will continue to expand, but it will be at a slower pace.
