The Ottawa City Commission has decided that a single bid on lots at 103 North Elm and 127 North Elm is not good enough. City Manager Richard Nienstedt says the matter has been going on for a while:
The lone bid was $2,275. It was submitted by Diane Coates; however, the City Commission rejected the bid, says it was much too low for the properties in question. They plan to put it out for bid again in hopes of finding a higher bid price.
