The discussion of pit bulls seems to be causing concern among several Ottawa City Commissioners. During the Commission Study Session, Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner had some ironic news:
Several Commissioners have expressed concern about repealing the Breed Specific part of the vicious animal ordinance that specifically bans pit bulls. The Commission is expected to continue discussing the matter next week. It is not clear if the subject will come up at the December 15th meeting.
