Former Senator Bob Dole passed away earlier this week and tributes and memorials filled the week. Senator Jerry Moran says he was heavily influenced by Dole, growing up only a few miles away from his hometown of Russel. When he got to Congress, he made sure he got Dole’s desk. Moran says Dole served far beyond his years in office and greeted almost all vets when they come in on Honor Flights to D.C..
