This week marked the 25th anniversary of the disappearance of a Spring Hill teenager. Tawnya Knight’s remains were found six months later in a field near Spring Hill. Her mother, Lory Aubry Knight, says it’s time for justice.
Tawnya’s mother hired a private detective about two years ago and through interviews with those people closest to Tawnya, has found out many things the original police were not able to find. While details of that investigation are not available, Knight says they have narrowed the investigation down to a few people they believe may be responsible. She says she knows someone out there knows something and it is her family’s hope they will step forward and bring, not only closure to the family, but as her mother says, justice for Tawnya.
