The wind event we are having today is unusual, especially for this time of year. Our Spring like temperatures are sure to set some records across the state for high temperatures on December 15th. National Weather Service Meteorologist Nathan Greisener says it’s something to keep an eye on:
He adds that the fire danger across the state is very high and encouraged people not to burn anything, anywhere today. Wind gusts here could top about 60 miles per hour; however, gusts as high as 85 are expected across Western Kansas.
