At the first Legislative Coffee held at the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium recently, the issue of Critical Race theory, or CRT, came up and Representative Mark Samsel was asked if the House had talked about it:
Critical Race Theory is a social movement of civil-rights scholars and activists who seek to examine the intersection of race and law in the United States and to challenge mainstream American liberal approaches to racial justice. It is not being taught at any Kansas public schools.
