Quite a scare for a resident in Williamsburg yesterday. Just before 8:30 yesterday morning, 32 year old Jaqueline Green of Williamsburg, discovered her house was on fire. She called 911 and within minutes, fire crews from multiple fire departments arrived on scene to find smoke and flame coming from the attic of the home, at 116 Dane Avenue in Williamsburg.
Fire fighters went to work quickly and fortunately, the fire was extinguished without any issues. The Ottawa Fire Department responded with the new air trailer so firefighters could refill their air tanks, if necessary. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has not been disclosed and no damage estimates is available.
