The fire alarm system at the Franklin County Jail and District Court is failing. It’s an old system and could be patched for $7,000 to $10,000; but, it will continue to fail and require more patching. County Director of Facility Operations, Brandon Sands, spoke to County Commissioners about putting in a new system:
The Commissioners approved the new system, unanimously, to be installed by A-Tronic Alarm Company, for a cost of $34,700.
