The Franklin County Historical Society is facing some big challenges in 2022. The biggest might be relocating their archives from their current location at the former Crestview Nursing Home to the Franklin County Visitors Center. Director Diane Starcinic-Dean on that move:
The move was initiated due to the poor condition of the Crestview Building. The County Commission sees repair of the building as not cost efficient and want the building to be torn down.
