The Garnett City Commission recognized the Employee of the Month at their meeting this week. Congratulations go to Garen Hunt. Garen is a maintenance worker at the Garnett Housing Authority. The Commission says the person nominating him, says he always comes to work in a good mood and chipper, ready to tackle whatever is thrown at him. He is willing to do any and everything he can to help make the Garnett Housing Authority property look good and keep everything running smoothly. He’s working by himself right now, but still stays on top of work orders and all the other maintenance issues that pop up. He’s always willing to research things to make things easier and more efficient for all the tenant and the buildings and get along great with everyone.
