With the arrival of potentially the biggest snowstorm of the year, City and County crews were out all night pretreating the roadways. City crews have been working all day to get the streets plowed as the snow accumulates. City Manager, Richard Neinstedt says the City has a plan for the streets:
With six inches of snow or more, in order to clear certain streets, particularly the downtown area, Neinstedt says Main Street Downtown will be closed during the over night hours so they can remove the snow safely, without impacting daily business activities and minimize traffic impact.
