The Garnett City Commission meets tonight at City Hall. The Agenda is pretty full. The main focus tonight will be on big events coming up in the month of March in the City of Garnett, with several to talk about.
Commissioners will talk about International Women’s Chocolate Day, hosted by Morning Mingle. The event will be held March 5th from 10:00 to 2:00 in Downtown Garnett. The Farmer’s Market vendors meeting will be held March 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 at Town Hall Center. Also, Growing Garnett Community Heart and Souls will host gospel music on the Square or at the Community Building the evening of March 19th. Then, talk about the Chamber Players Community Theatre new production “Doublewide, Texas”. The live Dinner Theatre will take place March 25th to April 1st.
A big event coming to the Rail Trail in late March, the Prairie Spirit 100 Kilometers, five miles and 50 kilometers will be run. Finally, the March Madness Demolition Derby will be held at the North Lake Park Rodeo Arena on March 26th.
