A Bill addressing the sales tax on food is facing an uncertain future in the Kansas Legislature. Franklin County Clerk, Janet Paddock, gave the County Commission an update:
There has long been an effort to end the food sales tax. Kansas is one of only seven states in the country with sales tax on food.
